2019 ART Award Winners

The ART Awards recognise people and groups who are leading best practice and innovation in the teaching and development of ringing and our Learning the Ropes achievers. The teaching awards are open to everyone, not just ART Members or those using the Learning the Ropes Scheme. The ringing award is open to those who have completed one of the Learning the Ropes programmes (on tower or hand bells) or participated in the Learning the Ropes Plus scheme.

Prizes

The total prize pot is in excess of £3,000 and a significant prize will be presented in each category. These prizes may be spent in a flexible manner, to be agreed with the winners, so that value is added to the group or activities undertaken by the winners. The Award Winners were announced and prizes presented on Saturday 2 March 2019 at the ART Conference at Worcester. Generally, prizes should be spent within a maximum of two years of notification, unless agreed otherwise with ART.

All those resident in the UK who have achieved LtR Level 5 by 31 December 2018 will be invited to our Learning The Ropes Masterclass in 2019. All relevant UK travel and accommodation expenses will be met for those who have not previously attended the Masterclass.
