Most ringers now have an awareness of ringing simulators, but only a minority of ringers will have used one and fewer still really understand their potential. Whilst the very early simulators may have been considered as just a novelty, ongoing software development combined with innovative teaching practices mean that the latest kits should be considered as an invaluable aid for teachers, novice ringers and even ‘experts’ looking to hone their skills.
